Course description

Each MIT was provided with a training manual with articles and other reference materials in it for use during this course. The materials that are not located online will be utilized during the team discussions.

Each MIT has received an email from his or her assigned trainer. The email provided motivation, contact information, and assigned meeting times to work on the final presentation. Each MIT will be responsible for the following:

Reading each lecture.

Printing off the lecture and organizing it in his or her training manual.

Printing off the associated quiz, completing it, and turning it in to his or her assigned trainer.

All quizzes must be pasted in order to move on to the next section.

Be present all team meetings. The trainer will add each team member to the IM discussion through MSN IM at the appropriate times. MIT's are expected to be online and ready to go 10 minutes before the meeting starts.

MIT's will use the Topics of Discussion for their IM discussions. These meetings will incorporate all MIT's and will be facilitated by a different trainer each day. Again, each MIT will be required to be online and ready for discussion 10 minutes before the discussion starts. The facilitating trainer will start the meeting and invite all MIT's to join.

On the final day of training, the MIT's will be asked to turn in their final quiz and present their team dialog. The dialog will consist of a demonstration of a coaching session between an MIT and a sales staff member. The dialog should reflect the new tools and strategies that the MIT has learned during the training. At the end of each presentation the trainer and the other MIT's will provide feedback to those that have presented. Each presentation will take 30 minutes.

The MIT’s are also provided with a Tips page to be used during the course.

All imperative information is provided in the training manual and in the email the MIT’s received from their assigned trainer.
